LODGING
Choose among four private cabins and eight cozy suites each featuring a private bath, fireplace, sitting area and custom log furniture built right here on the ranch. We include daily maid service and have a laundry facility for guest use. Take a detailed tour through all the rooms on our website.

RECREATION
Unlimited horseback riding and instruction, genuine longhorn cattle drives EVERY WEEK, overnight pack trips, whitewater rafting, skeet shooting, riflery, archery, children’s program, trip to the rodeo in Beaver Creek. We own all our horses and pride ourselves on the quality of our herd. Whether you are an inexperienced rider looking for a calm, gentle mount or an experienced rider who rides daily, we will find a horse to match your ability and disposition.

FOR CHILDREN
Our children’s counselors provide special activities for kids of all ages. Including riding, hiking, fishing, crafts and nature studies. Our petting zoo is a favorite for everyone as we encourage involvement with the feeding and care of the animals.
We figure one of the most important parts of a ranch vacation is families coming together so we do encourage families to ride together but are always flexible if the adults or kids want to join other groups. While adults relax in the saloon with a cold beverage after a day in the saddle there is always something going on for the kids in the afternoon. Our wranglers are well known for challenging guests in a game of pool or a late afternoon soccer game.

FOOD/LIQUOR
Our chef will surprise you with a varied selection of culinary delights, sure to please even those with the most discriminating tastes; of course there is always simpler fare for the less adventurous. Our cookie jar in the main lodge is always full with homemade treats and you can always count on complimentary appetizers during happy hour in the saloon. We also offer a fully licensed Saloon.

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
A casual setting with many teambuilding activities available for smaller, more intimate groups. Meeting facilities are available in the main lodge or saloon or break into smaller groups in individual cabins.

REGION/CUSTOMS
Whether it was gold seekers, trappers, or cowboys and Indians, this region has seen the dreams of many realized. Come visit our fascinating ranch, complete with teepee village to explore, a saloon to enjoy drinks and a trading post to purchase souvenirs from your trip back to the old west, and see why so many people have been awed and inspired by the Black Mountain region.

HISTORY/HOSTS
Black Mountain dates back to the late 19th century. Today, we are still a working cattle ranch, and we invite you to join in the excitement of running cattle.
