Selecting a ranch is fun and exciting. Dude ranches and guest ranches today offer a wide range of choices. Ranchweb offers you several special features to help narrow down the choices that are best for you. For example, you can select the ranch activities that you prefer, the price range that you are most comfortable with and whether or not you will be traveling with children. You can narrow the parameters even further by selecting a specific state, province or country. Simply click one of the resulting ranches or lodges and visit their customized Ranchweb listing. There you will find information on activities, accommodations, rates, food, kid's programs and more - not to mention beautiful color photographs. Another helpful feature presented exclusively by Ranchweb is the ranch categories page. This section presents over 100 categories designed to help you find ranches that accommodate your specific interests. Please click here for all ranch categories. Ranchweb's Interactive Map allows you to get a birds eye view of the area you would like to travel to. Click on an area of the map and zoom into a state or province to see a listing of dude ranches and guest ranches. Each map shows you which ranches are in that area as well as their approximate location. Then, just click on a ranch listing for more information. After visiting a ranch, you can use the navigation tools at the top or bottom of the page or use the back button on your browser to review additional ranches and lodges. When you find a dude ranch, guest ranch or lodge that you may be interested in, go to their Ranchweb site and print or bookmark their listing for future reference. After you have selected a few ranches, telephone, write or e-mail those you are interested in. We suggest you telephone the ranches and lodges and speak personally with the owners or managers. You can get a pretty good feel for things on the telephone. Ask for a brochure and for the names of several past guests who you might be able to telephone. Call them and ask what sort of time they had and if they had any special considerations like yours.
