Ranch History

Cowboy and Deb thought they would find their dream in Montana, Colorado or Arizona, but to their surprise they found everything and more in Wilson County, Tennessee!

Home to the best county fair in the USA and just a 30-minute drive to downtown Nashville, aka 'Music City', they both fell in love with the ranch – a piece of the cowboy west right in the heart of the green pastures of Middle Tennessee.

This unique ranch and location give you the ability to experience the cowboy life by day, and then kick up your heels to the Nashville music scene by night.

Twin Guest Oaks Ranch became a vision to share with everyone so they too could enjoy this rustic, majestic property.

"We want everyone to relax and feel assured that they can be fully present for every beautiful moment."

Since its inception in 2010, hundreds of families and groups have stayed at the ranch. As you drive up the ½ mile driveway, next to the horse-filled pastures, you will immediately know you made the right choice and the everyday stresses of life get left behind.

Serenity and peacefulness are visible and tangible here, and your priorities can be re-established.

"We promise to pour our heart and soul into your special time here so that it is nothing less than perfect... a place where you will feel right at home and can become a part of our story – but more importantly, part of our ranch family!"

Your Manager, Colleen Collins, CAP

As General Manger of Twin Oaks Guest Ranch, a rustic retreat venue only 30 minutes outside of Nashville, Colleen is responsible for managing all retreats, including: creating unique experiences with expert speakers, team building activities, horseback riding, chef-inspired dinners, wine or whiskey tastings, yoga, meditation and much more!

Colleen also handles all vendor appointments and agreements, day-of-event coordation, regularly monitoring and updating rental calendars, completing bookings, invoicing, as well as hosting sites.

Her past event management experience enables her to provide guests with an 'outside-the-box' experience!

On this tour, you'll learn what brings performers to the Ryman Auditorium today and what attracted so many great entertainers throughout its history.

The beauty of a well-seasoned performance hall, like that of a fine vintage instrument, cannot be reproduced.

Highs

  • Twin Oaks may be located in Tennessee rather than the 'traditional' cowboy states, however this means you can immerse in a truly unique vacation with all the cowboy experiences you could want, but with the famous Nashville 'Music City' music scene only 30 minutes away. Why not immerse in the Cowboy life by day, then kick up your heels to the Nashville music scene by night? This is a ranch vacation like no other!
  • You're really made to feel at home by owners Cowboy and Deb
  • There's an outdoor heated pool to relax by after your day's adventuring, so you'll really feel like you're on vacation.
  • The beautiful accommodations are perfect for family get-togethers, reunions, girls getaways or corporate retreats; choose from three well-appointed, self-contained properties that have everything you need from a home-away-from-home!

Lows

  • Horseback riding is not automatically included in your stay and costs extra, so be sure to take this into account when booking.
  • If you enjoy an alcoholic beverage on your vacation, be aware that the ranch operates a BYOB policy, so there's no bar or wine offering at dinner – pack enough for your trip or you can head over to Nashville to pick some up.

Visitor Reviews

Dont just take our word for it, see what visitors like you say...

You HAVE to visit Twin Oaks Guest Ranch!

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing little paradise! My family and I stayed in the guest house for 8 days, and we had the most relaxing, fun time. From the pool, the horseback riding, to living the ‘ranch life’ – all of it made for the perfect summer vacation. Deb, Cowboy and Tim – we can't thank you enough! You made us feel right at home on your ranch and showed us the true meaning of Southern hospitality. For anyone looking for their next getaway, you HAVE to visit Twin Oaks Guest Ranch!
