Coulter Lake Guest Ranch has 6 rustic cabins available to rent. The on-site activities include: horseback riding, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, family fun for all ages, hunting of mule deer and elk, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ice fishing and great food year-round. Pets are welcome. Nearby off-site activities included: golf, white water rafting, Glenwood Caverns and Adventure Park and Iron Mountain Hot Springs.

Very comfortable 1 to 3 bedroom rustic log cabins built in 1930’s & 1940’s, private bath with a shower, front porch overlooking our lake & mountains, and most with a stone fireplace. Cabins sleep from 2 to 9 offering a variety of beds. Cabins are located at the edge of the lake or nestled among the aspen and pine trees. Our ranch uses hydro and solar power to produce our electrical needs.
Meals are served either in the lodge dining room or can be arranged to have outdoor cookouts. Hearty, home-cooked meals served three times daily.
No alcohol served – BYOB.
Summer: Extensive horseback riding daily on mountain trails for all skill levels. Typically we offer 2 rides per day or an all day trail ride can be arranged. Superb fishing in our lake stocked with beautiful rainbow trout; rowboat, canoes, paddle boat, and kayaks are available; lake swimming at the ranch, horseshoes, corn hole game, volleyball, and hiking,
Fall: Big game hunting, guided hunts, non-guided hunts, drop camps, and packing services.
Winter: Excellent snowmobiling, snowmobile rentals and tours, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and ice fishing.
Children of all ages enjoy the ranch fun and activities offered.
Campfires and S’mores are also a big favorite.
