The ranch facilities are nestled amidst larch and aspen trees, rolling meadows, and mosaic timbered mountains. Decorated in a Western motif throughout, the cozy log lodge offers three rooms with queen-size beds, and their own assigned bathrooms. A large river rock fireplace, quiet reading loft with over 500 western novels and beautiful deck provide the comfortable atmosphere desired to relax after a long day of adventure. Rooms in the main lodge are single or double occupancy. Six new log cabins, sleep up to four. Each cabin features a queen-size bed, futon or twin beds, private bathroom, sitting area, fireplace, coffee pot, mini refrigerator, iron with mini ironing board, and private deck. Cabins are double occupancy only.

Food & Dining

The cheeriest cooks in the West will greet you every morning and evening. Every meal is prepared with pride, and the refrigerator is always open to you. If you’re hungry here it’s your own fault! You’ll enjoy fresh breads, salads, fruits, and vegetables. We pack our lunches for a new lunch spot every day. Special diet? Just let the cooks know and they’ll accommodate you. We offer wine at dinner and other beverages, but if you have a favorite wine, pop or beer, we recommend picking some up on the way out to the ranch.

People are saying they’ve ridden more than they could ever imagine. NO HEAD TO TAIL RIDING HERE! Riding horses and working cattle is our main emphasis. Our horse program is based on the Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship; a method that is both gentle and effective and creates a unique bond between horse and rider. Once you are comfortable with your horse, you can take what you’ve learned and head out and move cattle all season long, further your riding skills with our well taught horses and experienced wranglers in the comfort of our 1st class outside arenas, and indoor arena, or out in the meadows. Practice working cattle sorting, cutting, and ranch penning, or just head out and explore new country (We don’t always stick to trails). Be a part of starting our horses in the spring, and even learn to rope from the ground. With only about 15 to 19 people per week, and 6 wranglers, we can really give individual attention and tailor each day to you. Take advantage of our winter Buck Brannaman/Ray Hunt horsemanship program. Limited to 8 people per week, receive hands-on horsemanship from the ground up in our heated indoor arena; Cattle working and roping too! We also train horses for the public. Cross country skiing right from the ranch is spectacular. Other opportunities include mountain biking, hiking, and world-class trout fishing nearby. Simply relaxing is always an option.

Kid's Programs

The ranch does not offer a structured children’s program, however, special arrangements can be made.
