Triple Creek Ranch is an intimate, luxury ranch resort designed for adults. Situated among the towering pines on the southern side of Trapper Peak, the highest mountain in the Bitterroot Mountain Range of Western Montana, this unforgettable retreat merges unmatched natural beauty with plush comfort and exceptional personal service.

Accommodations are in 25 individual cabins with private or nearby hot tubs and wood-burning fireplaces. In addition cabin include, king beds, fully stocked wet bar, house made trail mix and fresh fruit, air conditioning, refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and beer, Keurig one-cup maker, in-cabin service, direct dial telephones with voice mail, high-speed wireless internet, satellite TV and Blu-ray player, in-cabin safe, daily housekeeping and nightly turndown service, baggage wranglers and much more. Our log and cedar cabins are located to afford privacy and spectacular scenery. All of the cabins offer refined regional decor and original Western genre artwork. Golf carts are available during non-snow months with most luxury cabin accommodations.

Food & Dining

Executive Chef Jacob Leatherman has been crafting exquisite dining experiences at Triple Creek Ranch for over ten years, introducing a new Dinner menu each evening. His finely tuned and adventurous palate informs a diverse menu showcasing distinctive flavors and imaginative presentation. Chef Jake’s talented team of chefs incorporates the freshest ingredients to prepare uniquely refined dishes to please all palates. For many guests, the meals at Triple Creek Ranch are indisputably the highlight of their visit with us.

All meals, including snacks and packed lunches, are included in the nightly cabin rate. Our Sommelier, Jeremy White, will be pleased to recommend a wine pairing from our complimentary selection of house wines, or a purchase from our award-winning cellar of premium vintages. Meals are served in our magnificent vaulted-ceiling Dining Room, or guests may request a Cabin delivery at no additional cost. Chef Jake and his team are adept at accommodating dietary needs and requests.


Triple Creek Ranch’s all-inclusive fee includes accommodations, snacks, breakfast, lunch, gourmet dinners, house wines and spirits and featured on-ranch activities. Complimentary activities at Triple Creek Ranch include a 24-hour fitness center, sapphire panning, outdoor heated pool, tennis, archery, horseshoes, on-ranch horseback riding, hiking, Orvis-endorsed fly casting clinics, fly fishing at on-site ponds or bank fishing the nearby Bitterroot River, birding and nature tours, photo safari’s, Alpine and Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and special events. Special winter events include Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, Western Horsemanship, Cooking School, Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day. Spring event include Vintners Events, Skwala Hatch Celebration and Women’s Rocky Mountain Rendezvous Event. Fall hosts events such as, Thanksgiving, Artist Workshops, Steelhead Fly Fishing Celebration and 100 Klicks For Chicks Event, a women’s horseback riding adventure. In any season, guests will enjoy dining at our exclusive Chefs Table and/or massages in the privacy of their cabins for an additional fee.

For more fun and adventure off-Ranch, guests may enjoy cattle drives, team penning, off-ranch horseback rides, Orvis-endorsed guided fly fishing float trips, ATV tours, Lewis & Clark trail rides, Wilderness Horseback Riding Adventure or Wilderness Fly Fishing Adventure, dog sledding, whitewater rafting, snowmobiling, scenic float trips, steelhead fishing on the Salmon River, mountain biking, golfing in nearby Hamilton, and Glacier or Yellowstone Park helicopter tours or Glacier In a Day private flight.

Of course, the joy of doing nothing at all is part of the Triple Creek Ranch experience and charm. There is no pressure to go anywhere or do anything. Curl up with a good book beside a crackling fire, relax in the hammock and doze to the sound of the whispering pines or take a soothing soak in a private hot tub on the deck of one of our Luxury cabins.

Kid's Programs

Families with children 16 and older are welcome at Triple Creek Ranch.

If you rent the entire resort for a reunion or retreat, younger children are welcome.
